| Beschreibung | In our facility, we often have different car types (e.g., 1/10 Touring Cars and 1/8 On-road Cars) practicing together. Since their speeds vary significantly, we usually set the "Minimum Lap Time" based on the fastest class. However, we frequently encounter "Slow Cars" taking accidental shortcuts. These drivers often ask us to delete those invalid laps immediately so their "Best Lap" ranking remains accurate.
Laps cannot be modified or deleted while a heat is actively running. I completely understand that this restriction is necessary to ensure fairness and data integrity during a formal race. That is exactly why we are requesting the ability to edit or invalidate laps in real-time specifically for the Open Practice mode, where formal race integrity is not a concern. |

| 19.03.2026 06:56:26 | Felix Romer | Feld: SpecificationAlter Wert: While the "Minimum Lap Time" setting works perfectly to filter out invalid laps automatically, we found a problem with laps that fall within the valid range but are still incorrect (e.g., a driver accidentally taking a shortcut). Currently, we cannot find a way to manually delete a specific lap record during an active Open Practice session.
Is the "Delete Lap" function unavailable in Open Practice mode, or is there a specific menu/setting where we can manage and remove individual lap records to keep the rankings accurate? However, I noticed that I can only modify/invalidate laps after the heat is officially finished. I understand this is for data integrity in a formal race, but for Open Practice, it would be much more efficient if we could: Edit/Invalidate laps in real-time while the session is still running. |
